Leucistic Gadwall

I saw numerous flocks of waterfowl moving around the open backwaters on the river today.  There was a leucistic gadwall drake in one flock.

I've seen mallards on rooftops many times the spring, but until today I hadn't seen Canadian geese on rooftops. There was actually a pair on each end of the barn roof.

Maybe the crowing roosters attracted them....
