Popular Post reinhard1
I made my version of Reuben roll ups last night. Called for crescent rolls, but they end up being too small to stuff anything in except a hot dog. So I used pizza dough were I can make a better seal and stuff more stuff inside. It also called for regular kraut and the only kraut I eat is my German kraut with bacon so that was used. Thousand island dressing, swiss cheese, and corned beef was also used. Didn't make my own corned beef so I got some buddig corned beef [first time I bought any lunchmeat in a long, long time]. good luck. Bacon is nice and crispy and ready for the kraut. Mixed the bacon and hot grease into the kraut. Flattened the pizza crust out and cut the pieces I needed with a pizza cutter. Spread some thousand island dressing on the dough and put some corned beef, kraut, and swiss cheese on top and sealed the deal. Baked them at 350 for around 18 minutes until lightly brown and some of the goodness was seeping out. There it is, and I had some Killians to go with it.
