You'll have to have del come over and demonstrate. :D

I'm still waiting for him to pick me up for me ride to the sports show, but I see he's been busy discussing the merits of what a good chiropractor can do. :P

I need to go over there and look but I'm nervous to change the channel from here.  I posted a great Eddy Haskell and kind one yesterday over in the Homeopathy forum.  A little LL love to calm things down.

that walleye I probably caught 3-4 years ago on my dads lake.  I was alone but wanted to get a photo so I put it in the live well cooler and I was right near the dock so I went to get my then 82 or so year old dad to take that photo.  He used a walker and was bad in a parking lot let alone uneven ground and he had to walk towards the dock so I could keep the fish in the water as long as possible.  He was a trooper though and helped me out.

My dad used a 110 camera for the past 15 or so years until they quit making them.  He thought they were awesome.  Before I took the fish out I showed him how to use my iPhone and we practiced on a tree.  He kept putting the phone up to his eye like it was a camera, I couldn't get him to look at the screen.  Finally I grabbed the fish and told him to start taking pictures.  He looked like a deranged man.  He had the phone up to his eye and had his mouth open and kept yelling at me, "it isn't working!!!"  I finally released the fish, I was laughing so hard I couldn't take it any more.

I grabbed the phone from him and I'm not kidding he took like 20 photos accidentally and a video somehow.  Photo 1-19 were the ground, the sky, his thumb, a tree, the lake, the dock, the boat...I was getting nervous.  The last photo was the only one with the fish in it and HE NAILED IT!!!  I'm sure I gave him a hug and I'm sure he told me later that the walleye would have tasted pretty good.  The older guys weren't afraid of keeping 29 inch walleyes.

He drove me nuts sometimes but stuff like above makes me miss him a ton.  Happy April Uno.

I bet dotch's maid wouldn't mind a steam shot of that,  speaking of her, just got done splitting wood and could really use a rub down..:). Taking the easy way out tonight, blts and pasta salad, man is that a great combo.

This weather does stink, I have around 12 of each little jalapeños and sweat peppers around 2" tall that I would like to move outside soon but or should I say the Mrs wants out of the bay window..

I knew if I offered you'd come clean. I know you don't even have a new license yet, still working on those tires, too, aren't ya?  I've been out and about all morning, to the box lumber store, crawled way under deck and ran new sump hose, got the summer deck furniture all ready to go, been to Fleet Farm for ammo and the new soused- up verde machine, put the blowers inside, etc. I bet you've been noodling around inside all day, haven't ya?  I'm headed up to bobbers so we can whip up some supper, and look at those sweet peppers. (Not SWEAT peppers, bobber) DON'T put em out yet, Bobber, wait a week or two.....believe me. What flavor beer ya want, boober? :P

Forgot to ask LL, was that a landfill fish? :P:D

you join a Union or something?  Naw...let that one go before she could throw it in the garbage.  It still stings when I think of just the packaging job I did of that cooler.  Ugh.  Forget it... a lesser man would have murdered someone since it's a couple seasons of walleyes for most of you.  Just a weekend of work for me.  "work"

Good morning.  We got 3-4" of snow last night.  It got down to 12 degrees.  This is not going in the right direction.  I guess it is a day to do inside stuff.  AGAIN!!!   We wanted to have a fire in our woods this weekend.  Will have to rethink that maybe.  I have bacon frying and am almost coffee'd out.  I will turn on the hunting and fishing shows and get motivated to go out and start the woodburner so I have a hideout later on.  Maybe i will sit in my boat in the garage and have a brewski later on.  I have a flat screen TV out there too.  I could watch a fishing show while in the boat.  How cool is that?

I have chicken quarters in a kettle in the frig.  Last night I dumped a jag of red wine vinegar, and good scoop of sugar and a good scoop of salt in a half a kettle of water.  Threw the chicken in and let it soak overnight.  I will do the chicken on the pellet smoker/grill later on.  I will also fill up the smoke tube for extra smoke.  Love that thing.  Really adds flavor to the smoke.

Well I hear the bacon sizzling and the wife hasn't made a move to flip it so I guess I am appointed to do it.  Great story LL.

    • My kid was eating in Beverly Hills and ran into this guy. Talked to him a bit and wished him luck in the game tonight.
    • 🤔as a recovering machinist!🤣🤣that must make me a recovering welder!
    • As a recovering machinist, I can appreciate that.  If the spec is 0.001 - 0.0015, then clearly the correct measurement is 0.00125, duh…
    • I just figured that it is easy enough to just get a 3 bank so when the boat is not in use I can keep all 3 batteries charged. I have not bough a charger yet, maybe I will give it some more thought. Edit: After thinking this over, with the size, weight, and heat output of the charger (as well as the cost) I think it makes sense to just buy a 2 bank charger, I have a smaller charger i can use on the starting battery when the boat is sitting at home. Forgive me, for i am a retired engineer and I have to obsess over everything...
    • Congrats on the motor!  I think you’ll like it.   I can’t say much on the charger location but I’ve seen them under the lid in back compartments and under center rod lockers.  160 degrees is more than I expected to hear.   Curious why you’re opting for a 3 bank charger with a 24V trolling motor.  Unless you don’t feel you be running you big motor enough to keep that battery up as well?
    • I did buy an Minnkota Ulterra, thanks for the recommendations. I had a bunch of Cabela"s bucks saved up, which helped. Now i need to get an onboard battery charger. Where do you guys mount these things in your boat? The manufacturer I am looking at {Noco genius) says tht their 3-bank charger will run at 160 degrees, seems like a lot of heat in an enclosed compartment? Thanks for any input on this.
    • You're very lucky a troop of Sea Monkey's didn't carry you away.
    • Wasn't terrible at a state park beach. Antelope island maybe.  I wouldn't recommend it as a beach destination tho.  Figured I was there, I'm getting in it.
    • The water looked and smelled disgusting with hundreds of thousands of birds sh*tting in there.  About as gross as the Salton Sea. When I duck hunted there I didn't even want to touch the water.
    • It's kinda gross with the algae in the summer but I got in it anyway.  Wanted to see the increased bouyancy at work.  You can kinda tuck yourself into a ball and you'll just float with your head above water.  When dry off you look diamond encrusted with the salt.
