The fact that people WANT the officials and the calls to be perfect has been the problem all along. Imperfection has always been part of the game and it always will be until technology takes over and eliminates the referees. At that point I will quit watching those sports all together.

The reason you see more missed calls or bad calls is because of the technology. We are re watching these plays in super slo-mo, hi/def and picking out that the guys foot was out of bounds by 1/4 inch. In the good old days those plays would have been whatever the referees called them and we were for the most part fine with it. The picture is clearer and there are more camera angles catching everything that happens on the field. I prefer imperfection and letting the calls the referees make stand as is. 

This makes sense. They need to let these guys play the game also. So sick of all these calls for a minor bump or grab.

Refs missed a face mask call against the Vikings that probably cost Arizona 4 points. Anyone gonna complain?

Can't wait to hear the Viking's fans complain about the "bad reffing" on that missed facemask by Griffen...

Not gonna complain about this missed face mask.  However, I will say the roughing the passer call that went against the Cards was garbage.  Yes technically the guys arm brushed against Teddy's helmet but you can't call a penalty on some soft incidental contact like that.  They guys arms were up trying to knock the ball down not take off Teddy's head.  I wish those were the times when the ref could have some ability to make a judgement call about how dangerous the play actually was. An arm brushing against a helmet and a blatant blind side helmet to helmet hit are treated the same and they aren't even close to the same.

I am not going to complain about the refereeing last night I do think the Cards got screwed on the roughing call also.

The no call on Griffen canceled out the no call on the Teddy face mask,

The Refs kept their  flags in their pockets for most of the night  which Like. I thought it was a good clean game played last night. Turnovers at bad times was the main thing last night.

I agree.  1 call on each side more or less evened out last night. Like I said previously I feel that is what normally happens.  Its never going to be prefect but things tend to even out.  

Unfortunately we've seen it several times this year when the calls or no calls end up deciding the game.  Maybe its just bad luck that some bad calls have all occurred right at the end of some close games this year.
