BIRDS FOR TRAINING

I'm getting a Drahthaar pup in 2 months and wonder if anybody had a source for pigeons or live game birds in the Twin Cities area.? Also does anybody know of any hunting preserves with in an hour of the metro?

Mwal Pick up a copy of outdoor news they have listings of many preserves and there's a ad in classifieds for chuckers.

Try asking some farmers if you can trap pigeons from their barn.

I'm a member at Caribou Hunt Club in LeSeur, MN which is less than an hour from the Metro. They have alot of fields and I've been really happy with them. They have pheasants, chuckar, quail, and pigeons. They let guys training pups put out all their own birds with is really nice.
