Hawg
And where are you? Do you have HD available or just regular analog? Satellite dish by chance?
brian6715
I tried one of those cheap non-powered ones from Wal-Mart, and it doesn't really work well at all. Maybe get 3 TV channels, 40 miles from the towers in the metro. Has anyone found a 12v powered TV antenna?
fishingstar
I'm talking tv.I live in the Litchfield area. Most of the fishing will be done out here on Starbut plan on traveling more with this house.
JSK76
Without a question the Jack antenna from King Controlls. I'm out in the middle of nowhere and pulled in 28 channels last winter in my yard! Couldn't even get a channel on my old fish house that had different antenna in the same spot. Recommended it to a buddy for his ice castle and he's really impressed too. Edited September 15, 2015 by JSK76

icehole10
Not sure of the brand, but the HD antenna that came on my new Ice castle works awesome.
Hawg
I can't remember the name of it but there's a page somewhere that you can look up what you can expect to get for channels and what direction to point your antenna. Usually a powered antenna doesn't make a heckuva Lotta difference. Just the right antenna is. The older analog satellite dishes are very easy to hook up if you have a connection for a box or have Direct tv or Dish already. That might be a consideration also. Very inexpensive

icehole10
Check out this antenna, this is what is on my new Ice castle and so far it has worked great. Even up in the woods north west of Bemidji, I can pull a few channels with it.http://kingconnect.com/product/king-jack/
SnowGuy73
I've had very good reception with the pvc pipe looking style antenna. I hear really good things about the new powered ones that ice castle is now using too.
