I did not see any wolf sign this year. That could explain why I was seeing does and fawns running around.  I did not see any bucks. In Grand Marais if the wolves are around we do not see many does and fawns. However when the wolves are around the big bucks are still around.

Rather slow for my group this year. Only saw two and my dad saw 0. Could have taken a 40ish yard (tough) shot at a 4 pointer Saturday morning but decided it wasn't worth risking only wounding it or having my arrow deflected. Unfortunately it was the only chance I got! Didn't see any hunters in our area this year though, only positive of the hunt this time around.
