I saw some kids out at recess today and looked on my truck thermometer and it was 5 degrees out.  Very proud of the school and kids for leading a normal day.  Reb almost smoke some terrorists at the car was today so we can cut him some slack.  He also made me laugh comparing the wind to Smurfy talking.  I'm glad I don't talk a lot.

I smoke terrorists before they can even act. I keep the car washes safe for all. Just call me Walt. Every time I really get on Smurf's case big time. I can just picture him....:P

HAHAHAHAA! Love to, bobber! But, we're inundated with 'em down here. Got my hands full. That was the reason my cuz retired last year, sold his house in St. Paul, in the yuppie area, and bought a double wide on 45 acres of woods up north.....I was afraid he was gonna let go some day, he even scared ME. Carries a huge .45 in a Miami shoulder holster, a S&W in ankle holster, and has a few nice AK-47's and a new 7.65 assault rifle that uh, um, shall we say, runs rounds thru it way faster than.........shhhhh.   He is fully licensed and trained, by the way. Never even has had so much as a parking ticket.  His son is a sniper on a police dept outside of Minnesota, his other son is a weapons trainer. My nephews. He likes to say we're the "bro's ya don't screw with". :D

This stupid thing won't let me reply when I click "quote" lately, doesn't allow cursor to highlight or type. I also can't get bobbers post "down here"....  Anyone else having probs on here? I sure am....a LOT of goofy little things lately. Jumps back to pre-post when clicking on quote, etc. Just on HSO.......nowhere else.

good work on the melding.  Get the fork in the right spot on the money shot:

Dinner Fork: The largest of the forks, also called the place fork, is placed on the left of the plate. Other smaller forks for other courses are arranged to the left or right of the dinner fork, according to when they will be used.

straight from the Emily Post Institute.  I didn't know she had an institute but I could probably teach there.  I was going to post the whole photo of all the placements but couldn't because I didn't know to and because it seems most of you need to start with baby steps. :)

If someone who isn't busy could please post the whole placement photo Reb and I would get a kick out of it, thanks.

You're going to make someone a wonderful wife someday there, Reb. ;) I can see you're going to have to work on your utensil placement though after being severely chastised for my indiscretions on Valentine's Day. I'll let the "fork police" chime in on that one however. :D

The heck with the fork police ( he needs to find a hobby ) :P I'd be jumping in fingers first,  after I'm done wiping up what's left on my face I'll lick up the cream corn off my plate!!!! Great looking meal reb..

Couple slabs of my snappy meatloaf, baked tater with butter, chives, and sour cream, and sweet and thick Injun corn....To heck with fork placement, too. :P

To easy you should just use a Knife-no wonder we have an over-weight problem. Fingers and a knife is all you need.:D

HAHAHAHA! Thanks Bobber!! :)  You'd like that corn...can of good creamed corn (Green Giant is the best, since Festal became them, yes, there is a difference) lotsa fresh cracked black pepper, about 1/3 tube RITZ crackers, powdered to heck, and about a big Tbsp brown sugar. Mix well, bake uncovered in 350* oven for about 45 mns. Corn will be "skinned over" thickly on top, stir that in right before serving....comes out nice and thick with a sweet bite....ahhh...*slurp* I gotta go have some more.....:P

    • As a recovering machinist, I can appreciate that.  If the spec is 0.001 - 0.0015, then clearly the correct measurement is 0.00125, duh…
    • I just figured that it is easy enough to just get a 3 bank so when the boat is not in use I can keep all 3 batteries charged. I have not bough a charger yet, maybe I will give it some more thought. Edit: After thinking this over, with the size, weight, and heat output of the charger (as well as the cost) I think it makes sense to just buy a 2 bank charger, I have a smaller charger i can use on the starting battery when the boat is sitting at home. Forgive me, for i am a retired engineer and I have to obsess over everything...
    • Congrats on the motor!  I think you’ll like it.   I can’t say much on the charger location but I’ve seen them under the lid in back compartments and under center rod lockers.  160 degrees is more than I expected to hear.   Curious why you’re opting for a 3 bank charger with a 24V trolling motor.  Unless you don’t feel you be running you big motor enough to keep that battery up as well?
    • I did buy an Minnkota Ulterra, thanks for the recommendations. I had a bunch of Cabela"s bucks saved up, which helped. Now i need to get an onboard battery charger. Where do you guys mount these things in your boat? The manufacturer I am looking at {Noco genius) says tht their 3-bank charger will run at 160 degrees, seems like a lot of heat in an enclosed compartment? Thanks for any input on this.
    • You're very lucky a troop of Sea Monkey's didn't carry you away.
    • Wasn't terrible at a state park beach. Antelope island maybe.  I wouldn't recommend it as a beach destination tho.  Figured I was there, I'm getting in it.
    • The water looked and smelled disgusting with hundreds of thousands of birds sh*tting in there.  About as gross as the Salton Sea. When I duck hunted there I didn't even want to touch the water.
    • It's kinda gross with the algae in the summer but I got in it anyway.  Wanted to see the increased bouyancy at work.  You can kinda tuck yourself into a ball and you'll just float with your head above water.  When dry off you look diamond encrusted with the salt.
    • We went to the flats too. I dipped a tire on the rental car onto it just to say I’ve been there, but it was still pretty soft from winter melt. After seeing some moron in a BMW suv get dragged out of the muck I had no intention of repeating his stupidity.
    • I've been out on the flats. It's like being on a different planet
