Framing nailer

Looking at one of these for possible yard shed build, kids back yard playground,& deck building. Automatically figured 2-3 1/2 inch version needed for these projects. Paslode looks pretty kick A$$, cordless version anyway, is it worth $350 on sale plus 11%rebate? Or $220 corded tank version by Bostich? Anything else better? Anything to stay away from? Or dont I need that biggest size for those projects.

Can't go wrong with the Paslode, have built multiple fences and sheds with mine. Lets you work with out having to have a hose and air compressor. It will make you forget how to use a hammer as you will find yourself using it for anything you have to drive a nail. Framing, sheathing, flooring hard to beat. Last project I built with my nailer.

My buddy brought two gs paslode when we built my garage. I think we used a hammer about three nails worth... they are awesome and putting on sheating on roof without worrying about the hose was a timesaver.

I went out and bought a gas paslode finishing nailer after that and that thing is awesome too especially for T&G ceilings. You don't want to run out of gas though, as that can make things stop in a heartbeat.

If it was me (I am not contractor though...), I would get the paslode.

HD reviews on the paslode are off the charts great. I did check out a few others including battery operated dewalt (same as my drill) but even those reviews said it lacked power, would not drive all the way at times, and have jams. Been researching hard last 2 days and contractors/diy'ers alike absutely love the Paslide hoseless. With a shed, deck, and kiddo rec area in backyard coming up I thought the Paslode would be over kill but everyone says its worth every penny, even on HD HSOforum @ $399.99. Save big money has it on sale @ $350 + 11% rebate.

Bought the paslode, started the shed this past weekend, loved the freedom and speed of it.

I would have preferred the dewalt battery version as I already have tbose tools but price was too high and reviews were not as good.
