Did Adrian set us up?

This may seem far fetched but who knows. I had a thought the other day. Adrian seems to be getting more screwed up every day. I know this sounds absurd BUT.... I wondered if Adrian beat his son (which he and Texas sees no wrong in) to upset the MN nice people just enough to think of trading him to of course "the Texas team". Well obviously this has gone much farther to hurt the Vikings than he or we could have ever imagined. The timing of the talk to Jerry, the beating, smoking weed, being uneasy, now Adrian playing us instead of being thankful that we paid him even when not playing, seems so contrived to me. The whole thing is starting to look like we were set up big time. Adrian may be too smart or too dumb however you want to look at it to do this but who knows... Kind of a conspiracy theory.

That is pretty far fetched. First it was a Texas court that charged him with a crime and where he reached a plea deal so I wouldn't say that the state of Texas is ok with his actions.

It also seems a little far fetched that AP would even think about the cultural differences regarding child discipline between MN and TX let alone see it as a way of getting out of MN.

I'm all for a good conspiracy theory but this one just doesn't make enough sense to even make you raise an eyebrow.

Now the Vikings have come out and said they WILL NOT be releasing AP. I like that, they have pretty much said play or don't get paid. That and now Trade partners may pop up knowing we aren't going to just be releasing him.
