anyone purchase one of these? look like nice stocks and very reasonable, i just picked up a rem 783 a couple weeks ago at a price i couldnt pass but it would be nice to spruce it up with something besides the synthetic black stock.

My son bought a lam with thumb hole for a SKS he had. It looked pretty sweet with it on the old gun.

I put a lam thumbhole on my 870 and love it ( see my avatar)....... It added some weight but I love using thumbhole stocks......

I bought one for a savage axis. Stiffened up the stock nicely and looks nice.

I have 4 of them and really like them a lot. Especially now that you can order them checkered.

I have installed several of them on guns, ranging from mausers to savages and very minor inletting is all that was needed. I am also building two mausers, and rebarreling a vanguard and I have already purchased the stocks from Boyds I got unfinished ones as I want to do that myself.

whats everyones experience with their shipping of instock items? online it says ships within 2 days, put a order in on monday and still hasnt been shipped yet; according to some facebook reviews, which i should have looked at prior, their shipping is slowwwwww

Mine took three weeks, but it was slightly customized, which was within the timeframe they quoted at checkout.
