MootScoot
Made this over the last couple of weekends. I think it turned out pretty good for mostly scrap wood. Saw a bunch of woodies and a few mallards while setting this up. Geese seem to be grouping up in flight, big flocks today! Looking forward to opener! fishuhalik
Very nice blind! I've never hunted out of a pre-made blind. Bet it's awesome!

TylerS
Very cool! Wish I had someplace to make a blind like that around here. Let us know how it works out for you.

BoxMN
Looks great. We used some free pallets (with also free plywood over them) to make a "dock" through cattails to pothole. It won't last long, but price was right and now easy and dry walking for hunting before work.

Not on private land though, where we did this. Would never do this on public, or create any sort of blind.

Stringerless!
You are allowed to use aquatic emergents as long as they are cut above the waterline. ( Cattails,Rushes,Grasses rice....)
Farley
Looks great. It won't last long, Thats the sucky part. We built a couple similar blinds on my buddies pond one year, they lasted about 3-5 years, the best pallets to use for the walkway are the ones with the smallest spacing between the boards and the thicker the wood the better. They last longer and dont snap when you step on them carrying a couple dozen dekes, your gun(s), coffee, etc.... Pretty comfy hunting for those 3-5 years though.
