I assume that you do this after they've cooked for a while. I have a great pickled egg recipe that I would make more often, but I get mad every time I have to peel eggs. and if anyone wants the pickled egg recipe, I will gladly share it.. icehole10 Posted August 12, 2014 Share Posted August 12, 2014 Here is my pickled egg recipe.1 jar of Mezzeta's California hot mix (juice and all) 16oz jar1 jar of Mezzeta's banana peppers (juice and all) 160z jar2 TBSP ground turmeric2 TBSP chilli powder18-24 eggs--depending on the size of your jar. I use a bigger glass jar that I can get all ingredients + 2 dozen eggs.top off with white vinegar and let sit 7-10 days & enjoy! shake them up every couple of days. Now i'm going to have to whip up a batch to bring up to the hunting cabin in a couple weeks!! One thing that I didn't add to the recipe is, I really like to throw some of the cocktail olives in there as well, but do not put the juice from them in.
