JeremyCampbell
Is there a veriety of different suit case style fish houses? My uncle has one with wooden doors on and he uses it as a permerment on the lake.I'm kinda looking to do the same but need something bigger. I have only seen one type which has two holes to fish in and you barely can fit two people into.Do companies still make them?I only see them mostly on c list. Thanks
Walleye Guy
I think they have been replaced by the hub style pop-up houses. I haven't seen a new suitcase style house in a store for a while.

Brad B
Jeremy, check with canvas craft in rogers. I bought a 4 X 8 from them about 4 years ago. they offered 4x8,5x8,6x8,& 8x8's when I got mine. they also have a insulated and non insulated model in the suit case houses. personally spend the extra and get the insulated one. I have since sold mine and went to a hub house when I need the extra room.
loadmaster
To bad you are not near Duluth I have a Canvas Craft 4 x 8 suitcase style house I am trying to get rid of. I really like it lots of room. Just like new. Getting to old to be lifting by myself.
ice_medic
I used to make something like that that would double up as a spear shack. We would leave them out on the lakes all winter and have no problems with them at all unlike the manufactured suitcase style house. Ours would fold down on its self and store good during the summer. The only problem was our limited engineering skills to get the floor to fold up because we would run out beer to quick so we just put them on skids and called it good. We could build a house for about
solbes
I got a freebie 4x6 Frabill a few years ago (2 holer also). I like the relatively light weight and how warm it stays due to the floor. The 6' length is okay for 2, but the 4' width is too narrow IMO. A 5x6',5x7', or 5x8' would be ideal.Agree that the hub style houses are so much more prevalent now. I see Cabelas had a suitcase style out on the floor last year.
Wanderer
I agree the 4' width is too narrow. 5x8 is a real nice size. Folds to 5x4 and fits in the truck box nicely. I've fished in both home made houses and manufactured houses and will say that between a wood floor and "plastic" floor - I'll take wood every time.
