if i could only pick one turkey call, it would have to be a mouth call. the hard part would be picking which one grin

i favor woodhaven and gooserbat diaphragms and have around a dozen of each

ok, if i had to pick just 1 it would be a woodhaven yellow venom

if you are asking which box call, it would be a woodhaven real hen walnut, but i have shot a few using a heartbreaker

Sounds like you already have a box call. If you're looking to add one to the arsenal I would recommend adding a double reed mouth call. Unless you're hunting one of the first couple season you have a little time to get comfortable with it to make a couple turkey sounds without movement when they are in close. Otherwise it's tough to beat a slate call and you can always sit it on the ground to make a cluck, purr or soft yelp to close the deal when the bird is close.

I tend to add a call or 2 to my arsenal every year. This past weekend I added another double reed mouth cal and I picked up a push button box. Kind of fun playing with them. Interesting that they all sound a bit different. The push button can be mounted to a gun but I will be using the bow smile
