Eric Wettschreck
I'm pretty new to the smart phone scene. I recently picked up a Samsung S3.As far as batteries go, does a guy charge it up even though it has plenty of battery life left or is it better to let them go almost dead, then charge? pinkfloyd4ever
part of me says technology these days in those phones either way is fine. I charge mine up every night regardless of charge remaining. The wife doesn't charge until its near end of power. It probably is better to let it run down more and recharge it to extend the overall life I imagine. My thought is more like a car battery, it keeps getting recharged constantly so that is what I do
upnorth
I charge mine up daily, but do let it drain to the point of shutting off now and then, can't shake the battery memory thing completely. May be just me, but it works for me.

Nick Kuhn
I generally charge every night or when the battery drops below 50%. Battery life is generally good on newer phones as long as you occasionally clean up your running apps and how much data they are saving.
