It works as well as eurolarva. I like it because it stays on the hook much longer than live bait and and you can catch a lot of fish before having to use a new piece. It is thin sliced pork rind or seal skin. I always keep some in my pocket when on the ice looking for panfish or perch.

I usually find it at Fleet Farm.

Well I tried it with better results than expected. Sunnies were really attracted to it, more than wax worms. When I put a new piece on the hook they wouldn't be too interested until it had a couple minutes to soften up and have a more natural action to it, then the bites were steady. Out-did wax worms, plus it lasts a long time on the hook.

I literally take torn of soft plastics, cut them into strips, and use them on small hooks to catch pannies, and use a fly rod to cast these weightless small strips of soft plastic.

Simple and dumb, but the fish eat it for some reason, probably the same reason some of my best "flies" are a bit of fuzz tied on to a hook with some thread

I have no doubt the chena bait will catch fish, and if it has any kind of scent then it may catch fish a little better than other options at times.

I have caught fish with the flying lure!!! I bought the gimmick and gave it a run for awhile...not a bad bait to hit the docks with as it will "fly" further under the dock and caught a bass or 2 and a couple northerns. Haven't used them in years but I do still have them!!

I just saw a youtube video on this a few minutes ago. I think it's funny how simple you can be to catch these fish! I'll have to try the bit of fuzz on a hook for fly fishing..been wondering what to tie lately, might as well go simple, eh?:P
