Northstar Jigs

Does anybody know if Northstar is still making jigs? I was going thru my tackle bag the other day to take inventory and I see their site is still up but it doesn't look like one can make an order. I see they are no longer offered on TW as well. I didn't know if they were just down for the season or if I am going to find somewhere else to restock my jigs for next season.

We are down right now, I have to get my carpal tunnel (sp?) looked at, it is making it nearly impossible to tie jigs. They are and always will still be available at our store though

Thanks for the reply. It's good to know you haven't stopped making jigs and I hope you are feeling better soon. I'm a big fan of your jigs and I'll have to get some before opener even if I have to swing by your store on my way to the cabin.

The store address is the same as our address on the bottom of the page on the HSOforum, the plan right now is to first heal, second build an inventory for the store, and third build an inventory for the HSOforum, the last 2 might be reversed seeing as how I am getting pummeled with requests online to open it back up, but I am not opening back up without an inventory. This way when it is open, I can offer same or next day shipping instead of the crazy wait times we get up to sometimes. I also have obligations to another business I was running until the end of the year, but after the end of the year I am going back to what I know and love making baits and running the bait shop.

I also want to thank everyone for the response I have had since I had shut the HSOforum down, the initial plan was to just let NorthStar die a slow death and get out of the business altogether and only make baits for the retail store, but after the response from this forum and others that I was an advertiser on, and the calls and emails from long time customers I realized I was making a mistake, and needed to finally pull my head out of my @$$ and get things straightened out. So I am planning a to reopen the store around the first of March, with a workable inventory and just keep building from there

Gordie, I might take you up on that, RRR I have buzz baits at the store, well some left, I will have a ton of buzzers and different spinnerbaits up at the store next spring.
