Anyone getting out this weekend?

I made it out today for a few hours. It was cold but the bite was fairly good.

We put about a dozen smallies in the boat. A coupe 19"ers and a fat 20"er.

Looks like nice weather next weekend too. I'll get out 1 or 2 more times yet.

Made it out both days. Caught 2 20" and those were the biggest. Most were smaller.

Got out saturday and was windy as hell. Wish I would have gone sunday morning! Fishing was pretty darn good, got about 15 with biggest one was just over 19". All on suspending jerkbaits and squarebills.

Boat is winterized (cept for bearings) - sad deal. Getting the ice fishin stuff ready and may shore fish if I need a fix.

I might try to hit the river this weekend if it really does get up close to 50 degrees.

I will go but I will look for a lake with pike too to keep it interesting-live bait and yes I may even have to use my anchor!

You shouldn't have a problem with the pike, they have been really aggressive the past two weekends.

I'm planning on going again sunday. I hope it doesn't raint too much, that could be miserable.

Glad to hear a few of you are getting out.

I'm probably done Bass Fishing for the year. Deer Hunting this weekend yet and then next week looks colder. Not a bad thing, then it's just time to ice fish and I am sure I will pick up a Bass or two thru the ice! They always put up a good fight on a little ice pole.

This weekend does look ok for fishing with temps in the mid to upper 40's. Might be one last chance for some of you to get out.
