It's actually a case of Haves and Have Not's. The Have Not's, would rather steal it from the Haves, not work for it like most of the rest of us fishermen. The opportunity was there, the Have Not tried to make the best of it with tragic results to the Have.

I personally give away fishing equipment that I don't use. I go thru stuff every winter and give it away in the spring.

I give tackle to young fisherman also but I rather doubt this scumbag was after tackle to go fishing. Not often you find youth involved in the outdoors getting into any serious trouble.

You misunderstood what I meant. Of course he won't use it for fishing, but it is great for selling at a pawn shop of to some shmuck at the lake standing there. It's the opportunity to take and sell, not use and enjoy.
