LMITOUT
Hope the boys at MWR can sleep well tonight after the blatant screwjob they pulled tonight. Typical Toyota team...only way they can win is to cheat.
gregg52
gimme a break that might be the most absurd thing you ever posted to think they could stage or plan something like that not sure how old you are but i'm thinkin you are getting alittle senile
LMITOUT
Wow.Just saw Bowyer's in-car. He won't win the Chase, I'll bet on that. Recall the Bowyer/Gordon incident at Phoenix a few years ago? Yeah...Ol' Bowyer is going to get intimate with a wall in the near future and well deserved, too. The only one saying he didn't spin out on purpose is Bowyer. The TV talking heads, the beat reporters, and the other drivers all agree it was a screwjob by MWR. 88fan
Junior's comments on the spin sure were interesting. Newman drove the wheels off that car, too bad he didn't get the win.

LMITOUT
Michael Waltrip to Truex after the race: "You've got awesome teammates". Your car just made it into the Chase (thanks to your other car intentionally spinning out) and that's what you say to your driver?

LMITOUT
It was quoted by the press.
LMITOUT
Dale Jr (who was right behind Bowyer when he intentionally spun out) said this on his in-car radio right after it happened:"(15) was on brakes in the middle of the corner, trying to slow it down so he could spin it out w/out really getting in trouble."Bowyer says Jr. got into him which, if you watch any video angle of his intentional spin, will show that Jr was no where near the 15 car.I'd like to know what Mike Helton (President of NASCAR) whispered into Bowyer's ear after the race...The only people denying that Bowyer spun out on purpose is Bowyer and Stevie Wonder. Sifty
To bad I thought Bowyer was a good guy +1 on him not winning the chase. MWR drivers will need to be looking for the 24 anytime they are around him
pushbutton
Last night I figured it was intentional, but how do you prove it? Figured the in car would not reveal anything, guess I was wrong..... sheesh .... was kind of watching Americas Dumbest Criminals. Have a feeling Newman also might scratch an itch when he is near Bowyer .....bet his odds of winning the chase just went waayyy down in Vegas. Jr's reaction was priceless. Also, Newman had a cool dig against SHR in the post race.
LMITOUT
Couple of things... Why is Vickers (the other MWR car) running so slow at the finish? Why is Bowyer two laps down after an innocent spin? FYI, he was STILL on the lead lap after the spin but didn't go down two laps until they called him in a couple of times for no apparent reason. Funny, both of them finished "conveniently" behind Logano.
LMITOUT
Logano was two laps down prior to the Boyer spin. He then took the wave-around to be only one lap down. Why didn't Logano restart behind Vickers, who was also a lap down but ahead of Logano???
LMITOUT
Vickers in-car audio from Lap 396:Vickers is told to pit and he replies: "I've got to WHAT?"Crewchief: "We're probably going to pit here on green."Vickers: "Are you talking to me?"Crewchief: "Yeah, we're going to pit."Vickers: "What? I've got to pit? I don't understand. Pit right now?"Crewchief: "You've got to pit this time. We need that 1 point."Vickers: "10-4. Do I got a tire going down?"Crewchief: "Yeah"What a load of fertilizer.

fishing tech
Boywer had a flat front tire. Even I saw that without my glasses and beers in me. How about the Streme spin or the dabre to get Gordan back on the lead lap.And yes Newman drove his a$$ off.
LMITOUT
Boywer had a flat front tire. LOL. Yeah, and Michael Waltrip never got caught for using jet fuel before either.
LMITOUT
At this point the only way to square the deal and send a message to the sport that this won't be tolerated is for NASCAR to tell SHR and HMS that they are allowed to declare a jihad on MWR for these last 10 races. Every car of MWR's should end up on a rollback, whether it be during practice or the race itself. Hopefully by the time Homestead comes around they won't have a car to enter into the race. pushbutton
Should be interesting to see how they handle it. Can't imagine Gorden's and Newman's sponsors are happy; can't imagine Bowyer's are either....their chase ended before it began. Sure Vickers and Bowyer pitting "18" times in 3 laps goes on, but that spin along with the video was just plain bonehead. Redneck Alabama cops even know about dash cams and car audio. Mikey-napa-know-how better take some off season lessons on how to cheat "properly" at least.
