Derrick Williams and Picks to get in Top 5?

The latest rumor, and there have been plenty, is this:

"The Minnesota Timberwolves are looking to move up to a Top-5 draft pick in the 2013 NBA Draft, in order to select Victor Oladipo or Ben McLemore. They are offering teams Derrick Williams, their 9th overall pick, and their 26th overall pick."

With a fairly weak draft class, I like moving up from 9, but are we giving up too much? If it was DWill and a 26th, I'd be all about it (but then again no one would be takers), but both of our higher picks and DWill seems steep. I guess I always held out hope that Williams would turn a corner, but I don't really see it happening. Thoughts?

If he were in this draft he would likely have been the #1 pick. If you believe the experts, this draft is loaded with guys that have a ceiling of role players. The one guy that intrigues me is McLemore, but I wouldn't trade DWill yet.

yeah no way would they make that trade...well I hope not at least!! Dwill is still improving his game and we are actually seeing him get better so I can't see them giving up on him now and our #9 to get an unprover projected role player
