We didn't draw as expected...but we got our point! Guess I'll be No-Quota this year.

I didn't apply this year, but my buddy did. Still waiting for him to check to see if he got drawn.

Looks like I'm hunting bears this Fall! This'll be a first for me, so I'm excited about it. I drew with my brother, so we'll have a fun hunt together. Always good to get hunting adventures in with family and my brother can fling arrows with the best of them. Should be fun!

I have 3 hunters booked in last ten minutes. I had 2 hunters with 2 points not draw. And I didn't draw with 3 points for 31. Expecting 15-20 hunters this fall.

trapper, sounds like the decrease in license hasn't affected you to much...that's a good thing...now find some bears for them folks! Good luck!

I got alot of hunters in my applicant pool. But we're still down numbers wise. We've run 100% chance an 90-95% kill since 08.

Wow- impressive! Good luck this year protrapper. I know we disagreed about some of the bear licensing related issues, but regardless of that I wish you well and hope you have a great season and many hunters. Good luck!

Third year in a row not getting drawn again for me. Guess I'll be doing more fishing late summer early fall.

Be interesting to see how many surplus tags are out in August. With the price of gas and bait could be a few. Hope I can pick 1 up I like to hunt later when other hunters quit an clients are gone.

My dad forgot to apply for a prefrence point this year...can he still do it? or is to late?

Just a question. Put in with a family member for tags Area 51. I drew, he did not. Kinda only put in to show him the ropes, I've harvested several past couple years. If I don't purchase my tag do I retain my preference points? Pretty lucky, have drawn 3 of 4 times on my tries for the Mn hunt in the last 5 years.

I don't believe you get to keep your preference points if you don't purchase your tag. Once you're drawn in the lottery, the next time you apply for the lottery the process will start over. At least that's my interpretation.

You will lose your points. Once you draw that's it.
