I watched the ALi-A videos yesterday during lunch and finally when I got home last night I checked out all the maps but Ignition.......kid wanted to play extinction with his buddies so I didn't get to that one. The new maps seem kinda cool, so is Michael Myers only on Fog?

All of the new maps have a special operation that can only be gained through a care package. Fog has Michael Meyers which is basically maniac with an ax instead of a knife. Ignition sets off the rocket torching everyone underground. Containment calls in a mortar strike that blows up the nuclear tanker. Forget the last name. Bayview? Call in a salvo from the destroyer off shore. Have not seen the mortar strike or rocket ignition yet. The other two are pretty much an ankle grabbing exercise if called in against you.

Not sure if you can get multiple MM’s in Fog, but we proved last night that you can get multiple test fires in Ignition. 

 

There is also an Easter Egg in each map.  Find all 4, shoot them, and get a squad point and 2000XP.   I did it last night and then thought, geez maybe I should have waited for the next double XP for an easy 4000.  

 

I like the new background music too. I like how they made dead silent completely silent and toned down amplify a bit.   I didn’t notice the change they made in the AK.  I haven’t seen much improvement in the spawning though.  Glad to see they brought back Gun Game, I’ll play that a lot more than I will ever play Heavy Duty.

 

Had some funny moments with the entire team next to a Sentry gun riding around on the trolley last night.  LOL

My favorite part was getting 12 gold guns, and THEN they decide to lower rescue and lean kills to complete it!!..... T- minus 4.5 hours until winning all night

Off the top of my head that sounds about right.

Played the launch map or whatever it's called. That may be the craziest with all the stuff going on. The air turned orange with smoke and it was really tough to see anybody. The jet engine test firing was pretty cool. Neat graphics.

Was fun Luke! Sorry I bailed at the end........I couldn't win a gun fight if the other guy still had to load his weapon......and I found out why when I left I was the host. But def fun, we'll have to play some more!

BTW, the Operations concept in this version is a complete failure. Why can't a person work on any operation they want at any time they want? This entire idea of "tracking" the ones you want to work on so they don't expire in 14 days is ridiculous. Open them all up.

And with this recent update as of a few days ago they finally did open them all up. About friggin time.

Boy, do the points rack up now.

I've noticed that as well...........is it Double XP or do I just see the Double XP logo? Cuz points don't show that they are worth Double but I am racking up the Points......I know Deitz's doesn't show the Double XP Logo.

I picked "The Ripper" off the ground on Fog yesterday.. it was pretty fun.. guess I have to wait till Apr 3 for the new DLC pack..

I haven't seen any DoubleXP, just hitting various point bonuses from completing operations. Since they've unlocked the operations the bonus points and patches have been piling up.

You have to wonder if they finally realized that locking down the operations in the manner they did was hindering people from prestiging and therefore were losing interest in the game. Sure seems like it's taking a while for folks to move up the ladder and it's March already.

When are they going to put the map pack into the general playlist rotation? I've barely played them just because it get's boring playing the same 4 maps over and over again. I see they put that bonus map "Free Fall" into the general rotation...why not the other four?

I snagged the Ripper off a dead guy a few times last night as well. Not a bad little weapon for the short time that I had it.

I have really lost interest in this game. I think I am just getting worn out on COD games. I want something new. Not same game, different screen, and gun.

I actually like that part they added. I don't play it near as much as I used to so I guess it didn't get that boring for me.

So- they buffed the SMG class and came out with new maps.. Thoughts anyone?

I personally like the new maps..Really like the digger map that is long and skinny.

I thought it was bad on the previous map pack too.

Disappointed with the goofy field order rewards too (predator, Michael Myers, alien creatures). Very Treyarc-ish. I liked IW because they were usually above those types of gimmicks.

i made it through two game last night before i was fed up with it and put in mass effect 3, bout the only reason ill get the next cod game is cause my wifes cousin works for tryarch

that and one of the camo is the "Bluntforce" Camo. I thought at least from what I remember with the Emblem editor and the like if you had drug references and that they got you in trouble.........this is kinda a double standard.
