Bog Late Afternoon

I drove Zimm road about 4:00 today and was surprised to see a Great Grey Owl hunting from a tree beside the ditch. I took some pics of the owl and a short distance to the east also had an eagle land in a tree next to the road. Thanks Jim Almquist for suggesting to go early or late in the day when the owls are active!

If the weather wasn't going to be so lousy tomorrow, I would head up to the Bog and try to find some birds...or even around Duluth/superior area..

Gotta admit, if these look as good on my laptop as they do on my tablet, I am jealous. I have pics of a GGO, but not with this perfect light and ideal background. Congrats.
