Polarized Sunglasses

I have a pair of man-o-wars in the 580g and yes at first it took a little getting use to the glass but after a week or so I don't even notice it...I have the blue tinted white frames and I absolutely love them!!! I know that if I had my bolle's that I wore fore ever I would have about 10 scratches on these but instead I have none as they are scratch resistant no scratch proof but resistant. The only issue I have with my Costas is that the lens cracked towards the top (manufacturing thing I think) but it doesn't bother me as it is out of view and I would have to send them in to get fixed or replaced and I don't want to be without my sunglasses. I wear my glasses everyday for every occasion and love them!! They make a day on the water not so stressing on the eyes when the day is over...

If you google The House Boardshop, you'll get a local MN company called The House Board shop, which happens to be the largest snowboard online sales company supposedly, but anyways, they have great deals on Sunglasses, may of which are durable enough for snowboarding, and polorized for dealing with snow etc... and fashionable enough for the most fashionable people out there.... just saying, I've got most of my glasses there, and I ice fish like a maniac. Good sales often, and you're helping a local company.

I found a pair of polarized photochromic sunglasses at fleet farm for 20.

They are every bit as nice as bolle and Serengeti which I've been using for years. And I don't care if they get scratched.

Being your eyes are extremely crucial I can see why people pay so much for sunglasses but 100 would be the absolute most I'd ever pay.

I have the Costa Hammerhead frame with 580g blue tint lens and they are amazing. I work on/near the water or in extreme climates of the Middle East and South America/equator and had gotten tired of my eyes feeling burned by the sun and glare.

I feel the Costa glasses offer the best level of protection for me as I have tried many sunglass mfg. They are also ANZI stamped so work site approaved and offer the best underwater view when I find the time to fish.

Costa offers great customer service in the advent of breakage/mishaps.

On my 3rd pair of Costa Fathoms in about 9 years. Simple way to tell the difference between people who wear a good set of glasses and not is the "raccoon eye". When I get to work on Monday mornings in the winter I can tell you exactly who was wearing a good quality set of shades and who wasn't. I wear my white raccoon eyes with pride all winter long! I'll pay the extra money for piece of mind that my eyes are protected. I know a ton of guides on Lake of the Woods and the majority of people who run charters or work the docks or run the ice got a pair of Costa's on.
