The bottom line is HE VISITS THERE.... I would sit there for at least a couple of days. I know scrape hunting can be a goose chase, but I would rather hunt somewhere I know he visits, then hope for the best in a funnel, travel corridor etc.

I wouldn't put much stock in the fact that he visits there, unless he visits often and is there during/near shooting hours. If he's somewhat a regular and doeesn't get killed, he'll probably be back at somepoint, but the when is the tricky part. Continue to hunt those rut funnels and stay on the ladies and you'll get it done! If not him, a different one. It's amazing how many miles bucks put on this time of year.

Yeah never had much luck hunting scrapes... I have had cameras on scrapes and had bucks only visit them once. Like mentioned they travel long and far this time of year and just have to be in the right place when he makes his rounds, might only be every three or four days.

I also focus primarily on pinch points, especially between two pods of does.

Whatever your strategy, good luck and hope you get him.

Ive actually read once that once bucks mature they only roam 80-130acres during the peak of the rut. Its the younger-less smarter ones that travel great distances. Im in the same situation with a buck named browser, 5am and 11pm 3 days apart @ the same scrape, havent hunted it yet still working on a game plan, one daytime video and its over... smile
