A huge thanks to Jerkin'm!

I just want to give Jerkin'm (aka Pat D., a long time FM member) a giant thank you!

Last week I made a post to see if anybody would be interested in a hunt swap. I was looking for a place to hunt the MN rifle opener.

Pat/Jerkin'm, took me up on the offer with open arms

He supplied me with my own cabin! It was sweet He also had a small parcel of property that I could have to myself for hunting. I did see some deer, but didn't pull the trigger.

On top of all of that he was also kind enough to take me out fishing on Friday night I had a great time with him, his sons, and his friends!

If any of you guys ever get the chance to meet Jerkin'm in the flesh, do not turn down the offer. He is a stand up guy!

Thanks again Pat!! Now you gotta come chasin hare, deer, ducks, geese, fish, or anything else you would like to do with me in the land of cheese

His little boys sure were troopers out on the lake!

His cabin was awesome! There were trophies from he and his grandfather, old decoys, snowshoes, and lots of other neat decor. I'm sure many memories have been made there.

He is a good guy. I met him on Crow Lake Ontario a few years back. Put us on the lakers and some muskie tips paid off as well.

Brandon, it was great meeting you and glad I could help with a last minute hunting opportunity. You are welcome at my place anytime and look forward to getting over to the land of cheese at some point. My kids were still asking about you and if you got any deer on the way home last night. Without exception all the people I have met from this site are top of the pile good people and I would hang out with every single one I have met. I think we all have the outdoor bug bad and love to help whenever we can. Shoot me a buzz when you can so I can hear about the last half of the weekend. I have a couple pretty good stories for yah...Glad you had fun..

Hey Pat, curious as to how your deer season is going... I know you usually have a couple good ones as a group by now!

Strat-We got 2 bucks, this 10 is the best of them. A couple pigs spotted and 1 missed(not by me) Just trying to get my two boys in the stands/fishing a lot. My 3 year old was great and slept nicely...Been trolling a lot and no bowhunting. Getting stoked for Muzzleloader next.

I am tagged out for the year.... Gotta get me some permission in WI next year! Would still love to be holding my bow 20' up with the rut just starting!
