Just seems we always have something to build around, but the house never gets finished.

Frame up the walls and let'er sit.

Garnett, Marbury and Gugliotta.

Garnett, Szerbiak, can't remember

Garnett, Spreewell, Cassell

Love, Rubio, Williams

Just wished we could keep a core around and do some consistant winning.

I think we have a decent core, they just need to be healthy.

Pek is a decent center, if we let him go, no way we can pick up a better center for the same, or less money.

AK-47 is a very good SF. Very good defense, and offense is pretty decent as well.

Love, when healthy, is the best PF in the game. nough said

Rubio has good D, great eyes, and passing skills. Offense sucks.

Buddinger would have been a nice SG for this team if healthy.

If these 5 stay healthy all year, with a above average bench, we win 50+ games this year.

So we have a decent core, we ust need them to stay healthy. AK said he will be back next season, Buddinger said he likes this group, and would love the chance to play a full year with a healthy team that is coached by Adelman. Pek, said he loves playing in MN, and doesnt see himself playing in a different city. SO, if we can resign them 3, and have a healthy season next year, there is no reason that we wont win a series, or two in the playoffs.

Well the Wolves have hit a wall, and barely have enough healthy active players to play 5 on 5. Maybe the NBA will allow them to play 4 on 4? Pek and AK down for the rest of the week, and doesnt sound to promising for next week either. JJ will also be taking a couple games off, more then likely from his flagrant foul last night.

On the plus side of things, since I am more of a glass half full type of fan, Williams is starting to look good, and is getting some great playing time, and taking advantage of it. He is getting plays ran through him, and designed for him(not that there are many other players left on the team to run through). To be honest, with everyone being injured, this is huge for Williams, and he is taking advantage of it, and actually giving fans something to watch for.

Rubio is still exciting to watch, but he needs to learn how to stop turnig over the ball so much, and he needs to learn how to make a layup, and a free throw.

Another good thing(maybe not so good for team benefit) is in the next couple weeks, Love, and Buddinger should be coming back, and by then, Pek, and AK should be back to the court in full health as well. We may actually get to see a few weeks of what this team should have been like all year. If nothing else, it will give the FO some thoughts as to resign Buddinger, or let him go, and to find a replacement.

So JJ got his foul reduced, so he wont be getting a suspension. It should have never been a 2 foul anyhow. I think Allen should get a flopping fine by the NBA, and a fine for over reacting though.

Disappointment? with the amount of injuries this team has had this season, I am not sure you can really call it a disappointment. More like bad luck that follows this team. I think the Wolves are approaching a record for total games missed due to injuries in a season, so it is kinda hard to blame the team.

Disappointment? It's hard to expect to win with a starting line up of Rubio, Ridnour, Gelobale, DWill, and Steimsma. Only one that should be starting is Rubio. Maybe they should look into a new trainer or something, it always seems to be MN sports that have injuries kill seasons. It is starting to get old.

Well, they are only separated by a couple games for lottery seeding from their current position (#8) all the way to #3. I don't think they will lose at the level Orlando and Charlotte are at. They can't keep picking so high and not getting guys to pan out. I hope the Kahn out, Saunders in rumors are true, not that I love flip but that Kahn has made too many mistakes.

Chase Budinger (knee) was spotted shooting jumpers and is "nearing" a return.

Budinger's timetable has always had him returning in mid-March, so he could be back as soon as next week. That's wonderful news for a badly injured Timberwolves team as Budinger will help at both shooting guard and small forward when he returns. However, he's still not doing contact drills and is hoping to return in 2-3 weeks.

evin Love (hand) plans to visit his surgeon in New York next week and hopes to return within a week of that visit if given the OK.

Love said last week he hopes to play in the final 15-20 games of the season. In order to reach the 20-game mark, Love would need to return by March 15, which seems unlikely given his timeline. However, if Love were back in the lineup by March 24, he would be able to play in the final 15 contests. Stay tuned.

I guess I should give the teams props for taking down SA last night as well. Not only did they beat them, but they did it easily.

Maybe the lines of Luke, JJ, Rubio, Schved, and Williams is the answer crazy

The Wolves should be in lose mode now to secure a decent lottery pick. Sure it is important for your young players to play at a competitve level, and not throw games, but I dont think I would be forcing Love or Buddinger into the game to win a couple extra games this year.

Chase Budinger (knee surgery) participated in practice on Wednesday.

Great news for Budinger as this was an expected next step for him. It's possible for Budinger to play as early as Thursday, and he should see minutes immediately, though he'll likely be on a limit initially. Budinger hasn't played since November 10 after suffering an MCL tear. He's expected to see minutes at both shooting guard and small forward.
