The Jiffy propane auger worked without any problems all last winter conservatively drilling 1000+ holes. It drills great new holes or thru old holes. I bought this over an electric for drilling inside the wheelhouse. Not much for fumes(smoke alarm/co meter do not go off)

It starts normally on one pull. I do keep the tanks warm, but have left the auger and tank in the back of the truck -20+ and it started no problem. The blades cut the ice without my down pressure and are still sharp as new.
