Walleyehooker
Heres a pic. The Walleye fillets I cooked in the microwave. Takes about 3-4 minutes to cook a plate of fillets or till they turn white and flake.

Walleyehooker
Yes Pike would work well to but I rarely fish for or get any Pike. Hardly ever a shortage of Walleye around my place and I like to try to cook them different ways. Nice change from the oil bath. Warmed up the leftover patties in the microwave tonight and they tasted just as good as yesterday. Also made that blueberry pie recipe today for desssert. Walleyehooker
I used frozen/thawed blueberries I buy at Costco. Came out just as good and much cheaper than fresh blueberries at the store. I buy these all the time and also use in cerial, waffles etc.
Walleyehooker
You might want to make 2 as 1 doesnt last very long. lol
Walleyehooker
Another thing is the temps and time the recipe says I had to bake a little longer to brown the crust. Next time I will bake at 350 for about an hour as that has always worked for me in the past on pies with the crust I make.
