ted4887
What kind of vehicle do you have?
Wish-I-Were-Fishn
I have a SUV. Don't think I would try getting one on top by myself.
ted4887
Something such as the Yakima Boat loader might work, depending on what rack you have on your SUV. Basically cuts the weight in half of your boat. Might be just what you need. It's not exactly what I had in mind, but I'll do a little more digging. I've seen a loader product that slid off the side of the vehicle and helped hoist it up to the top. If I find it, I'll pm you the link. yakfisher
Kayak/canoe tailor. Some guy on c's list in minne is trying to sell them. Looked kinda like a jet ski trail or with a rack system on it. I think Yakima or Thule has a rack system that will drop down from the roof to waist level you load it up and then just lift it back up to the roof. Pretty cool actually. B17
What kind of vehicle are you working with?Im guessing its a truck otherwise the lifting it on/off your car roof would be the biggest issue. But something like this would work well.http://www.seattlesportsco.com/productcart/pc/viewPrd.asp?idproduct=820&idcategory=
MN Shutterbug
Small kayak that fits in the SUV?
delcecchi
google kayak loader. the one that loads from side is telos load assist that goes with some sort of "autoloader". There are also some that work from the back that you put one end of the yak on then pick up other end and it rolls into place.
