Hey, don't shorten it to three months. Walkable Ice around Thanksgiving and then a cold winter allows us to walk out during the second weekend of April. That is almost five months of heaven.

I have always thought about sitting an AC unit on the ground or on a box of some kind just outside and have a 4" flexible duct hose going into one of the holes. I would think a small $150 unit would do a great job. It would be quiet too since the AC unit is outside.

We sleep in our fishhouse year round, and we just get an AC unit that fits in the window. Works awesome.

yea winter needs to get here like now my 3 year old brother soon to be 4 has been bugging me about ice fishing since may. and im having big time withdraw being out on the ice plus someone should come out with a ice fishing game just a thought lol.
