Any Luck?

I've been hitting up some local creeks and ditches and I'm finding fish, but not in numbers like I have in the past. I'm just wondering if you guys are finding any around. I've been out on the boat a couple times too, but even then I haven't had the best of luck.

It has been a really goofy year with the warm up then rain and cool down. The creeks haven't been the best for me,Ifound them with the really high water for 2 days then they dispersed. The lakes have been the most consistent at night so far.

Found a spot the other day that was stacked! As fast as you could shoot they were swimming by. I'll be curious when I go there this afternoon (with a bigger garbage can) to see if there still around.

Yeah early in the year a couple spots had carp stacked in them like you were saying but now since its been warmer out Idk I haven't been seeing them like I was I thought that I'd start to see more running, but oh well what can you do but check and shoot what you see. Good luck to you guys.

Went yesterday around 4pm to check and there werent nearly as many but they were still there. Going out today about 1pm, hopefully the wind stays down. Everything I saw yesterday nothing had much size to them but the quantity was good.

Went out today I saw some, but not in big numbers a group of 3 or 4 would swim through had to wait awhile for a new group to come and pass through.

i didn't make it to check today... my dang nab wood chuck showed himself, but I ran out of time to wait him out to re expose himself while I was armed with the 243.... he lives another day...

maybe i'll find time to get after some carp sometime this weekend

I've been seeing a lot of woodchucks lately.. Kind of weird usually don't see as many as I have been.

me and this particular chuck have been facing off for 2 months, but I am only at that other house once every few weeks or so... and only for a short time while i am there... i need to take a day and do some work around there, and just keep the ol gun handy...
