The only thing that remotely interested me was that I heard "Studio" will be a remake of Firing Range. I always loved that map.

I watched the trailer for it on the web page, and I am excited for the new maps.. As Dtro said, the new fire range map looks great.. I also like the looks of the one that is set in an outdoor concert venue.

They all look good and should add to the game for a while. Although, as open water becomes more of a reality I'm sure I won't be playing as much......kinda wondering why I did the Season Pass???

I would consider buying the new DLC just to get Studio. I too loved Firing Range. How does it work if you get this map pack, but not the first one? Will it only put you in lobbies with people who have the second DLC?

Yes, they will sort you by the DLC you have. And if you are in a party with folks who have both DLC they will just keep you out of Lobbies where they play the 1st DLC. For that the treyarch Matchmaking actually works.

I think it is my new favorite game type. I mean I liked regular Dom to. But with this I actually stay close to positive.

I wasnt sure if I was going to like it.. But its fantastic... Very few kill streaks in the air, as if you have a chopper gunner or v-tol or lightning strike, you end up getting friendlies and get kicked from the game. So most of the kill streaks seem to be microwave, maybe cent gun and then UAV or counter and VSAT.

I tried to hop on around 2:30 and it was down. From what I've read it's been down since around noon or so. I bet people hoping to level up with Double XP are a little upset!

Yesterday I was playing and seen guys with purple camo. Turns out sometime in the last 3 weeks more downloadable content was made available.

I now run around with a purple leopard print.

Got a few minutes to test out the new maps. Took about an hour to download at noonish. Did not get to try Magma. Studio is based on Firing Range. Uphill side of the map is almost identical. Slightly different downhill but travel routes still the same. Encore is similar to Stadium. Vertigo has elements of High Rise and the mw3 rooftop map. They are all playing very much run and gun right now. Seems like they all play that way until the nooks are learned. All smallish maps again. Think a lot of the guys that gave up on the game due to the original content would be surprised if they played the release games. Quite a bit of chatter about liking to new zombies if that's your thing.
