I had another example of blatant aim resist today, this time on Express. I come up the steps and there are two guys in one of those skyways that go over the railroad tracks. One of them is proceeding to jump out the window while the other is looking at me, so I draw a bead on the one I'm looking at but after a couple of shots my muzzle magically follows the guy bailing out the window like a magnet. Guess how that ended?

Oh that's right, we're only supposed to back-slap each other and stick our heads in the sand and pretend nothing is wrong.

Nothing to see here...no problems whatsoever...the game is great...I wish Treyarch made COD every year...

Turn off the aim assist. You're a big boy now. I thought that was for toddlers, no?

BTW, I suck at COD. K/D is somewhere around 0.75. But you don't hear me blaming the game for sucking.

It's always the squeaky voiced kid on the headset complaining that his bullets don't work. wink

I played for a bit last night, and over half of the games I played, it was crappy for hit detection, or them dieing, when they get shot point blank. My son had the best one I seen in a while, the other guy comes around a corner, and looks out the window, right in front of my son, he unloads about 10 bullets into the other guy, with the hit marker showing he is hitting him, then the guy turns around and knifes my son. This is on Hardcore as well.

Not sure if that is effected by the flackjacket, or not, but if it is, it has too much power.

I have played a ton of First Person Shooters over the years ever since the very first one was available to the original Xbox. Every single one of them had some sort of lag. I remember the days of Ghost Recon, and unless you had a buddy with a T1 line, you had to turn all explosion off and could only do 3 on 3 if you were lucky. If you found someone with a T1 line or something like business class internet, you could bump it up to 4 on 4 or 5 on 5 maybe. It took a T3 line to run 12 people with full explosions.

The master Wizzzard has taught me to slow my roll and my K/D has steadily increased. I went from a .7 player to almost even now.

I’m actually enjoying the game a lot more now with the slower roll and really don’t notice that lag as much. Call it camping if you will, but it works.

I only wish everyone that complains so much could have experienced what it was like to have to play without party systems, invites, party chat, and jaw dropping graphics and audio. Heck you didn’t even have open chat back then you had to push a button like a 2 way radio and only one person at a time could talk. Now that I think about it, the 1 person talking at a time is sorely missed. winksmile

I think I have ADD, I try to camp, but after about 5 seconds of not seeing someone, I get bored and move around. Or if someone runs past me, and I dont get a shot, I start chasing them across the board.

I guess, I am more of a guy that will move from one spot, to the next. I will only sit in them if people are going buy, and I can shoot. I like action, whether it is me shooting, or getting shot, it is action. If I sit in a spot for 5-10 seconds, and no one is there, I move to the next spot. You can usually find and shoot some campers that are planted there, and you can take their spot.

In BOPS1, I used to like running and knifing people, but in BOPS2, I dont have any success at that at all. I am not really sure what my KD ratio is, because my son plays on it as well, and he is much better then I am. I will go 23-8 for a couple games, then I will go 7-16 for a couple games, with a bunch somewhere in between. I prefer the smaller maps, rather then the big camping maps.

Oh, and I noticed, if I switch from playing BOPS1 on PS3, to BOPS2 on xbox, I spend a lot of time trying to figure out the remotes, and why I cant plant a bouncing betty, or how come my select fire doesnt work.

I have 2 more guns for AR to get gold, then I will have the Diamond camo for AR.

But I havent spent much time playing lately, so I havent got very far in the past couple weeks.

Just finished my Diamond for SMG. Lately I've gotten into completing challenges for each of the options on the game (game mode, equipment, guns) and think it's made me better in the game.

I can tell within the first 15-20 seconds whether I'll do well or not.

If you shoot right at the guy and don't kill them, but 3 shots later, you're dead..... you're not going to have a good game.

If you shoot at the guy, miss 3" to the right and the enemy dies, you're going to have a good game.

What does that have to do with anything? That's like someone with a new Cadillac complaining that their A/C isn't working correctly and someone lecturing them to be thankful for what you've got because 30 years ago we were lucky to have A/C. Really? It's 2013 for cripes sake.

There are games in the past that have played better than this one...heck, even this one played better a month ago before they forked it up again and that's where my beef is. It is an obvious issue with the way they develop and patch their games, as time and time again we've seen this with Treyarch and I don't know why it is a sin to call a spade a spade?

Every title in the COD series has played nearly the same. Especially at the height of each title's popularity everyone had some sort of beef regarding lag or hit detection or campers, or knifers or snipers, quick scope, etc etc.

The game is fun that is why we keep playing. I only have about 70 hours into the game, but some guys that complain all the time have played as much as 192 hours. wink

I wasn't lecturing, I was reminding how GREAT this game is compared to what we had 10 years ago.

sneaky snakeing has also helped me slow the game down, also letting them come to you rather than running around all willy nilly but i have also been playing tons of hardcore as i feel its a little more balanced

You guys just want an easy target smile

Oh well, might as well share my easy deaths with you guys as well.

wanderingeyes4

My son pretty much averages 20+kills to 8 deaths, so if you see that consistent, it is him playing, not me.
