I saw this show for the first time last night and it may be the worst of all the outdoor type reality shows. Holy cow. They're lucky to be good duck call makers because they are awful actors.

The point is that the show is horribly scripted and really has no entertainment value at all compared to the other shows in that genre. Filling loading docks with water and making cooking DVDs? A redneck conveyor belt? Ya, sure.

This show is THE BOSS. It can get pretty funny and the family values at the end are good too. I do think they exaggerated the Robertson's redneckness a little too much though. Too bad I dont' have cable - I have to wait until it gets onto Hulu.

That's the entire point! For people like me it's gold. I'm somewhat curious about what reality shows you find worthy? They're my kind of people with a lot of values that reflect my own. It [PoorWordUsage] me off to see little girls want to be like snookie so they can "be famous." I just can't stand all these shows that showcase a bunch of people famous for just being on TV and being a disgusting train wreck. God help me if I ever have a daughter.

I thought it was hilarious. For instance the bootleg duck pond. The brother freaks out on them, and then after a while he goes, "well, did it even work!?" ROFL!

The uncle telling vivid and graphic vietnam war stories to the little fourth graders on career day while Phil cleaned a duck in front of a bunch of citified girls was priceless. "I told you we shoulda went duck hunting" HAHAHAHA

Not a fan of the show. I expected more. It just another reality trash television trying to cash in on the latest fade. Just another reality show with a redneck twist. next they will have a show with rednecks dancing on stage with a panel of judges. There's probably already something like this.

No doubt they ham it up. Nobody is buying that it is reality TV, outside of COPS I haven't seen too much legitimate reality TV. A little humor, a few family values, a little look inside, and some redneck charm, take it or leave it.

LMITOUT IMHO this what makes this show so great not a bunch of reality yahoos gettimg scripted for a show this is as real as it gets and Thats why I like it.

Agreed!! Seriously, they needed to get a huge shipment out to a dealer and had a guy who hadn't driven a Semi since Vietnam deliver it?!? The way he was grinding those gears I'm sure that tranny was toast afterwards. It's a stupid show and you can see so many holes in it that would make that company go bust if that was the way they actually did things in real life.

If they didn't script it, with the worst acting I've ever seen, and make them look like a bunch of stupid redneck hillbillies trying to run a business I would probably watch it, but they ruined it.

I will admit though, those guys' wife's are easy on the eyes!
