Rain or Snow are they right?

Recommended Posts

Im bummed out because rain or snow still always becomes rain for SE MN... I am not going to injoy it too much if it rains, all the valleys and hills become muddy and slipery. If not rain and snow in the day time there talking late night showers... my tents is going to leak through the zipper from the rain cover. My father and uncle are sleeping in the car, Im too tall to sleep in the car comfterbly. This sucks in certain ways, but is the weather forecast right? Remember Im almost to Iowa, whatever snow we get in the cities is always rain down south until another week when it gets cooler down south.

I'd be sleeping in chest waders handgunner with that snorkel, bring a shovel and reroute the water away from the tent, it's going to rain harder than a woodpeckers beak man. Truth be told I think the best weather report will be Saturday morning about 5ish, I'm planning on anything and everything, at least we can rule out bitter cold temps. 2 sets of gear, 2 sets of everything.

The weather forecast for Fillmore County looks decent to me; a little warmer and windier than ideal this weekend, but I've hunted in worse: ice, snow, driving rain, -10 air temps in the morning during second season, seventy-five degrees and sunny during second season, etc.

The good news is the corn is mostly out, and the rut will be peaking next week. The moon is waxing, with a full moon next Thursday, but some cloudy weather and cool nights would make moonlight less of a factor.

corn was not mostly gone... i feel the farmers left the bordering corn just so we wont see much which we didnt, they do happen to do that sometimes but this time was too obvious that if every single cornfield was chopped and all on the drive there and when we reached our area and their corn is all chopped except the areas that border the woods kinda says something their

weather was pretty anoying. high winds means tons of face wind burn, HATE it! at times it got decently cold, all i can hear are the tree moving and creeking thinking one is about to fall near me and knock me out of the stand
