deadeye
Cool, thanks. That's the procedure I have sort of used with the original app for marking spots. Sort of hokey imo but I suppose for what I paid I shouldn't whine too much lol. It's pretty awesome considering the bang for the buck you get with it. MN_Jay
I posted this on another topic as well but somehow my phone let me re-download the "North" version last night through the android market, although it is not listed there as an available app. I did notice however that some lakes don't have 1 ft contours anymore, but some other ones do. But it definitely is the North version.
Dubleaa
how do you go about viewing marked spots "favorites" that others have put out for public use?
nofishfisherman
I think you go into settings and make sure the Community Layer check box is checked. That will show things that others have saved and marked as available to the community. I just got the app last week and used it this weekend for the first time. For the most part the community layer marks rocks and stuff like that but occasionally you'll see a fishing spot or something else marked. Wish-I-Were-Fishn
For those that have used both of those apps, does the new app have more/better maps? OR is the interface just improved with the same old maps? My one gripe about the app was that there wasn't a proper simple way to MARK my location. Just curious if they have done something with that. The new app is screwed up. See above post regarding the new version for more info. Some of the maps no longer have detail.
SpecialK
Is there a way to delete maps once you download them?
