Belichek is the master at bringing in guys with a chip on their shoulder and something to prove.

While other front offices and teams run away from these players, he brings them in and gives them a chance to redeem themselves.

Like the other posts said...if they don't work out they're shown the door and the Pats lose very little.

Little risk and a potentially huge reward...hard to argue with that.

Wow, I couldn't agree more. As much as I despise Belichik for a variety of reasons, I really admire how he and Scott Pioli (GM) worked together over the past decade. The new GM seems even more shrewd in finding the bargains and letting Belichik turn slackers into believers and winners.

Haynesworth will be a force for the Patriots.
