Recommended Posts

After looking at out area and the log books we are WEEKS behind...

Ate a few blues but %90 have yet to pop. Rasps are just starting to flower...

Now with the heat and water they should be going good by the end of the week.. It has been a cool and cloudy summer.

What are you seeing?

minnesota is home to a wide variety of wild berries, Most commonly know as Whishus ihadus someus. The red color phase berries is a sub species if whishus ihadus, known as rapsus berrieus an can be considered dangerous if prevoked. The blue color phase which is highly prized by hunters in minnesota is known as booberrieus yummus. Not to beconfused with the cereal. Booberrieus yummus is know to attack hunters upoun being startled especially. I cant wait till berrieus season here in MN. Getting pupmed!

Yes, Steve, I did know that about the impact of a late berry crop on bear baiting, but did not know you were referring to bears, since you didn't mention that. Knowing you, I probably I should have just assumed berries and bears were going together, but you know what they say about assumptions . . . smile

[PoorWordUsage] your right Matt.......

Well since boar pointed out most of the areas species of berries..Id like to add the treehuggerious maximus a very colorfull berry that is a invasive species..

It moves in slowly appearing peacefull and once established it forces all the natural vegitation to adhear to its binding restricting grip. A very weak plant alone but in groups it can suck the life right out of any indigenous naturally sustaining berry.

Side effects from injesting this berry can be loss off common sense, sickening change in diet, desire to wear oddly stripped clothing, depleted bank accounts and worst of all the desire to hug food based animals.

If you feel you have any of the above symptoms seek medical attention quickly. A yuppilectomy will have top be performed.
