Shimano Baitcaster Question

YUM

Recommended Posts

One of my Citcas is missing an E-Snap, I think this is what they are called. I must not have snapped it in place when cleaning it this winter. Anyways I went to fleet farm, Menards, Home Depot, and auto parts stores and could only find em in plain steel, where they are almost black looking. Does anyone know where I could score a stainless steel one? I believe they are the 1/8 size.

I would order them directly from Shimano, that way you know you are getting the correct one. You may pay slightly more for it but you won't need to drive around town to find it something that is likely special order at most stores.

If you don't want to use shimano. Go to a hobby store that sells high end radio control cars. They are used a lot to hold small parts in place on them. They look the same. To see if their stainless bring a magnet. Most stainless isn't magnetic. They are very thin and come in multiple sizes. The first time a i cleaned a reel i thought they looked mighty similar.
