Looking at buying a 2001 TR19 anyone here have one? any comments good or bad

Dont have a TR-19 but know a little bit about it. It is a fast 19 footer that fishes pretty well. Most that year have 200 merc efi's on them and thats a solid motor. If setup right its a 70mph boat. Only downside to the boat is that you will have to learn how to drive it because it will chine walk.

Go over to bassboatcentral and you will find a wealth of knowledge about it.

I never had a TR19.. but owned a TR187 for 5 years.. Was a great boat!!

johnny, as you know I have a 186....I can get 65 out of it on a good day.....and aaron follows me across leech in his 20 footer on "bad days". pretty good ride, good hull. I am real happy with mine.

I own a 99 TR18 with a 150 Merc EFI. Never had any problems with it. Handles rough water pretty well so im sure the TR19 is even better. Got it up to around 64 last year which i thought was pretty good for a 18 footer. Triton makes a great boat.

I know the ride is good as my tournament partner chad has a tr20 we use for thefor event was wondering about storage more so? should have been moreclear I kow the 19 wite the motor is fast

I just got my new boat, it is a 99 Triton also. It is the 180 I believe.

as far as the storage goes, I'm really not that happy with it. It has the duel live well in the back and a mini cooler type deal on both sides of it. Up in front left (right if your looking at the pick) is a nice rod compartment and on the right is a very large compartment for anything. But up front in the middle is another cooler type deal. How many coolers do you need on a boat. I wish it had the nice big flip up compartment in the middle for tackle/organizers. Instead I will have to keep all my tackle in the large compartment on the right that will also have life jackets and other stuff in it. I have only had the boat out once and I'm still organizing everything.

cooler? is it maybe just a open storage compartment with a drain plug? talking about the two in back not the middle front one.

Yup, the 2 in the back and the 1 up front, are just like that. I know its not really a cooler, can be used for storage, bait or beer I guess.
