Water Drops - High Speed Photography

Recommended Posts

Thanks. The students like to go into the studio and mess around with that technology. They have control over the interval rate, drop size, flash lag, and flash strength. They have captured 100s of cool shots. Today a few messed around with a ballistic sensor and shot balloons with a blow dart gun. Captured some neat photos. Took them a while to figure out the fps and figure out some distances. Once they did, they got some cool looking photos of balloons tearing in the air. They love it.

Great results!! They did wonderful work. I've done a fair amount of high speed photography busting ballons, shooting objects, water drops, etc. all with homemade beam breaker and sound box designs. It is great fun.
