Just finished up with my U of M waterfowlers research study.

Anyone else get this study questionaire in the mail?

I was quite suprised at some of the questions and the one that got me thinking was this one.

If the duck season length needed to be shortened to only 30 days, which three 10 day perionds would you most prefer to have the season open in the area you selected above. ( this was a map of the areas of Minnesota like central, south western, Etc)

Early Oct (Oct 1-10)

Mid Oct (Oct 11-20)

Late Oct (Oct 21-31)

Early Nov (Nov 1-10)

Mid Nov (Nov 11-20)

Late Nov (Nov 21-30)

No preference

I agree, not going to get a shot at to many early birds in late Oct-Nov? We would miss a lot of Woody's and Teal by then.

very true sorry leech, I found open water till the close of the season but I did have to "work" and search the last few days for open water
