Finlander
IceHawk, I had that experience 3 times in South Dakota thru the years where they were spiralling down, but nothing like you see on those snow goose video's! I just purchased Habitat Flats F5 Buried in Snows DVD and all I can say is "Awsome" video to say the least! Wish I was there!

Knickpoint
The sun rises off the eastern horizon, burning the dew off the finely manicured grass. I spread bread crumbs around before settling into the leather seat of my truck. The geese come in, wave after wave. As I scan the birds through the scope, a small shimmer of light reflecting off the leg of a large bird catches my eye. I squeeze the trigger and a .177 pellet thunders down range. BOOM! Headshot. The other birds barely even react. I pump my gun 10 times, drop another .177 in the pipe and start scanning the flock again. I just need 3 more to fill up my call lanyard. Now that's some dream huntin right there! what? too soon? Too soon for what?

chub
Every hunt is my "dream" hunt. Sometimes they just turn into nightmares, or I wake up just before the "good part". Once in a great while, it just works out.... Shooting ducks is just that, shooting ducks. I reckon it's the same no matter where you are. Now if there's a place with endless limits, cheap ammo and a sausage grinder, I'd be all over it. I suppose spring lights can come close, (aside from the cheap ammo part), at times. Rumor has it New Zeland might fit the bill too. But.....I imagine I'll continue to wake up at zero dark thirty, leaving one dream for another every chance I get next fall. After all, why would I bother if "today wasn't going to be the day"?
PierBridge
I've hunted all the places mentioned above and it was fun times for sure although Argentina was a bit warm for me. Canada some day soon!
