I picked up one at Walmart last spring. THe plastic isn't as hard as the real milk crates but that might not be a bad thing. Even in -20 temps the plastic is still pliable. Mine has seen a lot of abuse this year banging across Red lake for miles several times in the back of my sled but it's still running strung. Not to mention I only paid a couple bucks for it.

Works great. First year I've ever fished where my propane tank didn't A. tip over, or B. Fill up with snow on teh bottom of the tank and get wobbly.

I found a crate called Blitz Box or something like that. It's a milk crate like box that you can also hang on the wall and remove. I found it at Sears, although I see Menards has them now too. Fits a propane tank perfectly and much stronger than those plastic imitations. About $10.
