Just sick of the weather thats all, I know everybody talks about but can't do anything about it. Really want to try and fish between the raindrops this PM nothing better to do.

Well guys ,, I hate to say it but i dont mind the rain so much. I get more of the lake to fish... Doing seasonal work also means I gotta work my tail off so I can fish all winter ..It is common practice to see a rain dance performed on a job site so we can go fishing,, hahaha.

Nasty weather days to me guys means this; I get to work those areas that are productive easier.There is less traffic on the water during bad weather.

This weather is getting old, it was so cold today my hands had a hard time with the reel. Heading back to the lake soon and fish tomorrow and hopefully not freeze.
I am almost ready to get my icehouse out for shore fishing.

Rain... No problem. I'm not so sweet as I'm going to melt, that's for sure. BUT...
It's that FLASH...BANG stuff that I don't care for.

I was getting pretty good at dodging these rain clouds, but I had had enough and threw in the towel. After I used it of course....

I at least have a few crappies to eat tonight.

(Is it just me, or is my keyboard really smelling like fish? Hmmmm......)

From the it could be worse file. I was frustrated with all the rain, then I came down to Iowa for the weekend.

While driving down, I was surprised with all of the fields with significant standing water. That and most rivers have gone outside their banks, doing some damage to farm fields and towns. We have had 2-3 inches of additional rain in the last two days. And the tornado sirens went off this afternoon, but never touched down.

Hopefully all of this rain will go away for a few weeks.

Yeah that would be nice, I've missed the last two sundays due to the weather. Hoping tommorrow won't rain as much. It can drizzle and be a light sprinkle all day as long as there isn't anything to heavy. Was out yesterday afternoon and did not rain(I think we just got lucky).

Didn't anyone put pontoons on thier fishhouse when they pulled it off the ice. Didn't rain in there was warm too. Might need a bigger trolling motor couldn't seem to keep off shore.

I don't mind the rain so much as the wind. It's been blowing 20mph+ on all but one day that I've been on the water this year.

I can't complain, had one of my better days on Monday. Caught 18 walleyes in 3 1/2 hours in the wind and rain. I hope that S.W. wind howls tomorrow. I'm playing hooky and going back.
