Looking for a Quick Snap

Last weekend I borrowed a rod from a friend with a Quick Snap device to change the lures. I don't know about most of you guys but my eyesight aint what it used to be and switching lures after dark is not too easy.

This quick Snao was really the ticket!

I tried the company HSOforum and Gander but both were out. Does anyone know where I can find these? As always thanks for the help...

I just picked some up in Warroad at Riverside BP. JB tackle was the brand, same thing.

Thanks for the info but I didn't see them on their HSOforum and I was looking for some place a bit closer to the northern suburbs.

Last year I picked up a bunch from Fleet Farm. They weren't the Northland brand but they looked the same and worked great for me earlier this winter.

Gander Cabelas Thornes all should carry them, they are great for vertical stuff but not good for horizontal jigs.

I have used these on spoons and pimples. Any lure that I would normally tie a loop knot on. They do not work for the horizontal or smaller jigs. They shoud be tied direct in my opinion.

Do you guys just put jigs right on these or do you tie on a a leader and go that route?

Look in the fly fishing section!! They originated for fly fising but have recently become a big hit with the ice fisherman. They will be a diff. brand but they are the same thing.

I love quick snaps.. I use several different types depending on what weight of line I am running.

There are lots out there. Just about every store that sells something related to fishing should have them...

Ken's Lures out of Chaska, MN is the brand - Picked up 2 sizes from PL B&T last week - work great even for little lures, I have to use a pliers to hold the quick snap though... fumble hands I guess.
