greebs
Lol...... Favre is now on pace for 32 int this year. I hope you all are hoping for a QB change as well beacause regardless of the coach no team can win with those kind of numbers. P.S Sidney Rice makes me sick sitting on the bench in a must win game because he isn't in "game shape". He better start taking some lessons on manhood from Percy. every one of those 32 ints if they occur will be chilly's fault though. after all, he's the guy calling all the plays. brett can't help it that coach calls the slant to the cornerback play. he's just doing what coach tells him to do and making a perfect pass every time. pike doctor
How many of the INTs this year have been Farve's fault? I would say maybe one of every three or four. He had two today that werent his fault. I dont know how many more tipped balls, etc I have to watch get blamed on him before I puke. Him, Peterson, and Harvin are the ONLY ones trying on that offense. Everyone else is out to get a check. Way to coach em up Chilly. Lets see any other quaterback or Rb make any type of play with the horse$hit blocking we have had this year.
james_walleye
Are you one who will say that the bears offensive line stinks because Jay Cutler has been sacked more than anyone in the game? Or do you acknowledge that no, that is what happens to any QB in a Mike Martz offensive scheme. Sometimes what is going on is deeper than face value. fishersofmen
One of every 3 or 4 picks are Favre's fault...... Just remember that horse$hit blocking is CHILI'S FAULT.
james_walleye
Were you guys saying the same with Wade Phillips in Dallas? Like it wasnt Phillips fault they had 12 penalties a game. And why not blame the DB's for not being able to stop the opposing passing game? Just forget that it was obvious the team had quit on him? Was it Adrian Petersons fault he wasnt in the game on 3 straight goal to goal plays before Longwell missed that FG? I always like that plan, leave your best player in the sideline for all 3 plays inside the 10 yard line.
fishersofmen
You are correct it was obvious that team had quit on Phillips and were no longer competitive.Thats the difference we have been competitive in every game we have played this year. Todays loss was the biggest one we've had and like I said before you can't win in this league with multiple turnovers in every single game. If you want to blame turnovers on a head coach go ahead. P.S Favre and every other player on this team were jumping up and down like school girls after we took the lead with the touchdown to Harvin so don't try and tell me this team has givin up.I could care less if they can Chili and would even agree he's not one of the better coaches in the league. I just think all of the blame being put on him is rediculas.
FISHINGURU
I'd blame Favre for half of his turnovers tops, a bunch of them are tipped balls or players falling down. A handful more is lame play calling, like hey lets throw the ball on 1st down at the 5 and make sure to put AP on the bench!! We also have the worst O-line in football, we all knew that but it wasn't addressed in the off season? We also knew there was a big weakness at safety and that wasn't addressed, corner was weak but then we traded one of our corners. The coach sucks donkey just face it. Time to move on and think of the future.
1900_LE
How about keeping Chilly till Favre hits 300 games, fire Childress and give the team to Favre? What have they got to lose? Favre probably knows more about the game then anyone on the team, including the coaches.
FISHINGURU
You'd get a better draft pick if you kept Chilly until the end of the season. That is true, way to look on the brightside!!!

SkunkedAgain
Just wait until Favre gives the Vikings a 6-INT clunker. Better yet, he may just break his old record at go for 7-INT's in one game.
james_walleye
Fishers you can't possibly tell me this team is playing with the kind of fire they should be. Giving up and quitting probably isnt the right way to put it. They just arent playing with any fire. There isnt an attitude. Its flat performance after flat performance. If this team had Chillys back after all that has happened you would see this team much more crisp. At this point this team doesnt care. nonteepical
brett may be throwing picks but him and harvin are the only ones giving it 110% and maybe peterson. the rest of them are pi$$in in the wind.
fishersofmen
Agree to disagree I guess james. Just two weeks ago I saw plenty of fire when we were left dead in the water with only a few minutes left in the game and the defense and offense both played there guts out to come back and win. Last week after we took the lead with the TD pass to Harvin everyone was jumping up and down on the sideline ready to take down the Bears. Ufortunately the defensive line didn't step up in the end, Harvin left the game, and Favre began to struggle once again with turnovers. Like someone said before we just haven't been good enough this year. The players and the coaching staff as a whole. Hopefully we are good enough to beat Green Bay this weekend. nonteepical, Favre may be giving it 110% but he is still the lowest rated QB in the league this year. Apparently the two don't go hand in hand.
james_walleye
For about 7 minutes of game time this team has played with fire. The kind of fire a team SHOULD play with all the time. And that came against a bad AZ team. I could find a couple minutes that the cowboys played well under Phillips as well.So they completed a bomb to a wide open Harvin on bad coverage. Hip hip hooray. I would hope they would get excited over it. What they shouldnt be smiling over is trailing by 2 TD's with 3:00 to go against the bears in a must win game. Lackluster is the word i would put on 99% of this season. And if for nothing else, the whole way the Moss thing went down should be enough to lose his job. I can't believe Zygi didnt drop the hammer after not consulting anyone. Trade a 3rd rounder for a guy that you know has baggage and then act surprised when the baggage comes up?? And then to not be man enough to confront the Moss questions in the press conference the day after the pats game and let Ben Leber answer the medias questions because he happened to be in the locker room? Complete joke.

Allen, Hutch and Longwell go down bring the guy back because he's the misssing link and those guys during the games or on the sideline have no enthusiasm, talk about not having a guys back.
